This past week, Angela and her husband Brian welcomed Baby Judah, their first bundle of joy. For those who are interested in the stats, here's a note from the happy family:
"We joyfully welcomed Judah into this world on October 28, 2008 in Springfield, Missouri. He is a healthy 7lbs 12oz, 19½ inches long, and the most beautiful boy ever!"
To the relief of Angela's artistic sensibilities, Judah is a handsome little guy. For that, we've all breathed a collective sigh of relief... Not that we had any doubts, but we've joked with A about what she might do if—God forbid—Judah wasn't, well... aesthetically appealing.
Now to be clear, Angela isn't vain or pretentious. But as Grand & Weller's Design Director, you could say she's a bit more artistically aware than your average soccer mom. If you need proof, look no further than the hand-crafted tree sprawling over Judah's (homemade) crib. Weeks in the making, Judah's tree is constructed from actual tree limbs. The leaves are cut from construction paper and photos, which were then sewn into strands for Judah's enjoyment.
